AGM 13 September 2022
Our Chair Karen Charlton, who did a sterling job steering our group through a change of location and difficult times through the Covid 19 pandemic, stood down. Our newly-appointed Chair is Susan Lonergan. Congratulations Sue! The remaining Committee positions were filled by re-elected candidates. See 'our About' Page for Committee members.
We’re looking forward to one of our big annual events, our Summer Art Fair, taking place this year on Sunday 9th July at Hepscott Parish Hall. We'll be hanging a selection of paintings and drawings in a wide variety of styles and mediums from our talented members. Browse the work and vote for your favourite in our coveted People's Choice Award.
Most of the art will be for sale. There'll also be prints, cards and gifts available to buy on the day. You could take home a unique piece of art at a very reasonable price if something takes your fancy.
The day has been set to coincide with the National Garden Society Open Gardens taking place at 2 Briarlea, Hepscott so there's plenty to see in the village on the day. We will have refreshments available, including our popular lemonade stand.
We hope to see you there!
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Free entry. All welcome.
Autumn Exhibition 2022
Our Autumn Exhibition was held on 12 November at Whalton Village Hall and was a great success. Many of our members had their own stands displaying their work and the public had a chance to chat to them about their work. Refreshments were available also making it a very sociable occasion.
