Claire is a Wildlife Artist inspired by wildlife and nature. Her aim is to create beautiful loose expressive paintings to get across the essence of the animals that inspire her as subjects. Claire lives on a farm near Morpeth, Northumberland with her Golden Retriever, Samson and her horses. From here she is a Director in the family's veterinary laboratory where they are establishing a 130 acre nature reserve on reclaimed opencast land. She started painting in 2019 as an antidote to work and fell in love with the sometimes fickle medium of watercolour.
