16/09/23 Small exhibition at Whalton Village Show. Our display will be in the Church.
Summer Sketching Programme
Following the end of term fun at Whalton Hall we can confirm our sketching programme for the Summer. Anyone can turn up – no booking is required – and you can even bring a friend along. We will be meeting every Tuesday at 10:30am at the venue café. Each venue has been selected so that there are shelter and refreshments close by.
25/07/23 Morpeth Leisure Centre. The weather forecast was definitely a consideration when choosing this venue!
There are some interesting views and some unusual opportunities for sketching.
It offers excellent access, parking and shelter if needed.
1/08/23 Wallington Hall (National Trust).
8/08/23 Amble Quayside. Meet at the Harbour Fish Bar.
15/08/23 10.30 at Newbiggin (Church Point/Newbiggin Maritime Museum)
22/08/23 Open garden at MAG member Brenda’s home with her legendary cheese scones! Full details to be confirmed. Please leave the driveway clear for those who need accessible parking.
29/08/23 Seaton Sluice.
More info will be added as it is confirmed. Keep an eye on Facebook in case of last-minute changes. We look forward to seeing you and your sketchbook at some point over the summer. We will be back at Whalton Village Hall on Tuesday 5 September.
