We’ve had a great start to the year and are having a fantastic run up to Easter. Besides our weekly art sessions, we’ve had a Creative Corner with Judith using pen, ink, fineliners and coloured pencils with a topic of florals and birds.
We were also joined by well-known artist Nick Potter, for a demonstration and workshop. A winter scene was selected for what was an inspiring and enjoyable demo.
We’ve another great Creative Corner coming up on 15th April with Judith. The topic is negative painting of flowers with watercolour and ink.
Further afield, many of our members had work selected for the annual Northumberland Open Exhibition at the Woodhorn Museum. It grows in stature each year and it’s well worth a visit. It runs until Saturday 1st June.
