Having retired from teaching, Catherine is now enjoying her life as an artist. Originally from Newcastle, now based in Morpeth, Catherine spends her days taking in the countryside or working in her home art studio. She specialises in portraiture of people and animals, working mostly in pastels or oil paints. She enjoys bringing her subjects to life with rich detail and a warm spark of life in the eye.
